PRIEST-IN-CHARGE

Rev Dr Claire Aylward

Originally from Tipperary, Claire has spent most of her adult life in and around London. She became a Christian during her medical studies having started university as a firm atheist. After working for the NHS for nine years as an anaesthetist, Claire felt called to ordained ministry. Following her curacy at St James Thorley Church of England in Hertfordshire, Claire became Priest-in-Charge of Kilmore & Inch in October 2024. During her spare time, Claire enjoys hiking with her golden retriever Simeon.
