Obituary: We have had the sad news that Michael Perceval Maxwell (1933 – 2022) passed away in Canada in the middle of May. Michael was the last of the male line of the Perceval Maxwell family of Finnebrogue House and is survived by his sister Selina. Michael taught history at McGill University in Canada, had a particular interest in Irish history and is the author of several books, including: The outbreak of the Irish Rebellion 1641 and The Scottish Migration to Ulster in the reign of James I.
